I have an army photo of my grandfather Major John William Charles Gillman, RAOC, MBE. He is inspecting soldiers on parade in what looks like a hot country. There is the word 'Cruz' hand written at the top. I have obviously thought to Santa Cruz, Mexico; but as far as I know he served in Gibralter, and Egypt. Has anyone got a good memory or atlas!! Ta. |

Hello Helena RAOC Royal Army Ordnance Corps if you go to ://www(.)50missileclubra(.)com/index(.)html click on history you should find information on RAOC. Also if you go to http://www(.)national-army-museum(.)ac(.)uk/ It has history of all conflicts the British army has been engaged in. Shirley |
