trying to find out anything about my gt gt grandad he was an amateur middleweight boxer and we have trophies dating 1885-1887 his club was marylebone he was trained by harry avis his family were gentlemen farmers from the chingford area we think they had a double barrelled name |

if you google Tom Salmon + boxer it comes up with a prewar surname list of boxers beginning with s and his name is listed under S perhaps you could get in touch with the website? It is www.prewarboxing(.)co(.)uk/boxer%20lists/s%20list.htm . Good luck KIM ps remove the brackets! |
