post details here. The 1901 census online is very tricky because of transcription errors and the way it deals with places, over and above the inaccuracies in the original books. Don't give up until GC admits defeat |

I have tried searching 1901 census for croydon where I know my grandad lived did everyone have to register if not what do I do now |
