I suggested this some time ago, but was told to use Google to find out for myself. My feeling is that, if people want other people to do searches for them, they should make it as simple as possible by giving all available information. So often you have to prise names, dates and places out of them one bit at a time. So yes, I definitely agree with you. Jan.

Just a request. When asking someone for a lookup, please give the name of the county that they should search. I left the UK in 1966 and while I think my knowledge of the country is pretty good I don't know where places such as Calceby and Cabus are. Also eliminates me looking for the wrong county when there are two place with the same name. For example, there are two towns called Greetham, 1 in Lincs, the other in Rutland. I love helping people with their searches but could do them much faster if I didn't have to search for the location first. There, that's my moan for the month. ....Now who wants a lookup??
