Hi All Have had loads and loads of mail with virus's over the last two days but Norton has intercepted, but the last one got me worried as Norton said something about my C drive and also credit, can't remember it all, so I asked my son and he said to go on to Panda Active scan and download and then scan, anyway there was no infection just don't open any thing suspicuos Ann,Darlington

You could check at www.symantec.com and search for it there tosee if it is genuine. If it is, then tell your friends. If it isn't then just delete it.

This is the first dodgy e mail I've ever had thank goodness. I've got Norton anti virus and Firewall(that stops me getting on the Free BMD) and like I say I have to by pass Norton Security in order to get onto gc but I thought that was just by passing the protection against certain sites and the anti virus was still active. Not knowing much about how computers work doesn't help so any suggestions are welcome. Have recently updated anti virus by the way. Mary

Hi Mary I use norton too but dont have to bypass anything free BMD was one I had to fiddle about with but is ok now If I can help at all please let me know I dont want to sound like a nosey bizzy body but I have been getting 3-5 emails with viruses attatched a day luckily intercepted by Norton. The only way to stop these things is to stop the spread by stopping them getting onto your machine and emailing itself with out your knowlege to all and sundry. If you have email or go onto the web PLEASE for everyones sake get anti virus and firewalls etc and more importantly update them! good luck everyone Jan x

I've got Norton Anti Virus and Security but have to by-pass it the security to get on this site - along with loads more. I thought the anti virus was still in place if I by passed the security. Mary
