Mary, neither do I but have you had a look at this site http://www.pencoed-wales.freeserve.*co.uk/eastoningordano.htm It has marriages for Easton-in- Gordano from 1559-1812 and 1851 census you probably have but thought I'd pass it on anyway best wishes Christine

No ancestors by those names, but I live about 8 miles from Easton in Gordano.

Has anyone come across family links within the Mariner families of Pill (Easton in Gordano) ? Three/four different families from the ten Bristol Channel Pilot families are represented in my Tree.I am now in touch with American relatives on the same side due to the kindness of other GC members but have found NO family matches closer to home (UK). Names : Shepherd, Hazell ,Anstice and Porter.
