You could try The Dartmouth Town Council, The Guildhall, Victoria Road, Dartmouth. Or maybe put a letter in the Dartmouth Chronicle, Fore Street, Kingsbridge, Devon. Good luck.

Member Since: April 2003 Posts: 134 Send Message	Hi, I was told yesterday, by an elderly relative, that my very elusive Grandfather had a shop 'on the front' in Dartmouth. She seems to think that it was a Shoe Shop. Any suggestions as to where I could look for 'proof'? I have no idea of dates but would estimate between 1927 and 1944? Any suggestions greatly received.
