Hi Julie, Same thing happened to me when I received a birth certificate through the post this morning and I had to ask the same question! Aileenx

Yes, it happened to my mil's step-mother's mother: Hanson, late King, formerly Ayres.

On my Great Grandmothers birht cert it gives her mother's names as Eliza Rippin late Hutt formerly Dickman. Does this mean she was married before to a Hutt and born a Dickman?
