Hi Thanks to Maz finding my George Fairy on the 1861 census working in the Secretary's office at the Royal Miltary Asylum for the Children of Soldiers I found this wonderful site with a Google search. It is full of names, census extracts death of staff members etc. Well worth a look if you have "lost" a child with a military connection. http://www.rma_searcher.co.uk/cd.htm Happy hunting Marlene In the home of 11 Oscars for 'Lord of the Rings; as of last night!!!!!!!!!!! Hope you'll all go to see our scenery! |
