Census question campaign!

I was an enumerator in the 2001 census and I am sure that the question was asked. I think I would have picked up on it if it wasn't. What makes you think this? Jan from Gravesend. Kent/

I think all of us as users of old Census records should campaign to whoever is responsible (or at least our local MP's!) for the questions to be returned to the current census question line-up 'where were your born?'. This question has been taken out of the census list for the past few census', and yet for the likes of us, it is an essential question to locate our original roots. Thsi has been taken away from us. Future generations will not have the same census information we see in old one we read now. Something should be done about. Write!!!!!! David Anderson-Steel Leeds
