I wonder if any of our Aussie friends can help me here? According to family folklore, one of my g-grandmother's sisters emigrated to Australia to be with her son. She was a widow at the time and we believe her married name was Adams. Now, according to the story, the son in Oz had bought some land which he then sold to the Australian authorities for quite a tidy sum of money. Apparently, this land is now a suburb of Sydney, possibly Crowsnest??...here's my question....is there anyway I can find out about this land and hopefully my relly??? Regards Caroline p.s. meant to say that I think it was about the 1920's but not sure.
