GC was developed from Friends Reunited. So far as I know they have never used proprietary software, only their own. Stan |

Brian, I didn't think you could transfer FROM GC? Or have I misread the message totally? If you can, how do you do it? I have a large tree (1400+) but mine is on cd-rom so I just use that to put on sites like Tribal Pages, GC and Gencircles. The cd is rewriteable so no hassles for updating it either! I ask because I remember a message where someone only used GC and had no other backup! If I remember they were quite daunted by the thought of having to type every skerrick of info back into another programme!! Many thanks. |

No 113 shouldn't be too much of a problem, I did it with about 240. |

I have downloaded a geneology site-Is there a way of transferring my very large tree from G.C,without having to retype it all. Diane |
