You can go onto www.familysearch.org which is the Mormons free site and you can even download complete Gedcoms (lines of descent).

Hi you can apparently order parish records from LDS centres, and you pay a small amount to be able to view the parish records for about 30 days I believe. Hope this helps you out. Karen

I have reached the stage of pre-records so how do I now find my gt gt gt gt nan born about 1805 in West Brom Wednesbury Staffordshire same with my gt gt gt gt grandad born same area, also their marriage is pre-records as well. I have just sent off for both their death certificates. Is the only way to visit West Brom for parish records or is there a web site? and if I have to go where do I begin? Much appreciated. Bridgette
