There are lots of military history societies who could identify insignia. I know a couple of peopel in the local group but why not try the Military Museums. They must know! john |

Patricia is right about using search engine. Can't recall address but I found one that had pictures of all the badges, shoulder thingys etc. Try 'regimental insignia' or such like until you come up with a good site. |

Why not try the British Legion there is usually one locally. Or try entering army uniforms in Google. It's worth a try for starters. If all easy options fail send a copy of the photo to the British War Museum and ask them. Do not send the original ( it might get lost) I would send it by recorded delivery it costs more but as they must sign for it they tend to deal with it quicker than normal post. Good luck |
