The 1901 census index is notorious for poor transcription. Try being less specific in your search and try every spelling variation you can think of - and those you can't!!! My Marslands were indexed as Jillarsland!! Good luck. Janice

I HAVE REGISTERED WITH 1901 CENSUS,PUT IN MT CC DETAILS,WHEN I TRY TO DO A SEARCH,NOTHING COMES UP, I HAVE EVEN TRIED TO DO A SEARCH WHICH KNOW IS CORRECT,I AM READY TO PUT MY FIST THROUGH THE SCREEN.. DIANE
