Hi Anne, Give your local LDS a ring, explain what you are looking for, and they will tell you if they have got it, can get it or don't do it. I do know my local branch doesn't do death indexes unless asked for them. The films are normally a copy of the original entry. (so i have been told) hope this helps Eileen in Portsmouth

I know a lot of you use the Centres and I am thinking of visiting one as well. I have read that they will order films and fiche for you. BUT what I cannot discover is if these are just the film versions of what you find on line, or are they the actual records just like you find in the County Archives. In particular do they have the burial records of the parish??? I live a long way from my area of interest and it could save me loads of time and money if I can get to see the full parish records at the local LDS centre. I suspect though that if the parish did not let them film the records in the past, they will still not be available. Also without burial records ones tree has very shallow roots! Anne
