irish research any advice please?

someone has found a family on the 1901 census for ireland and i think they are my rellies . the parents names and places of birth fit , also the childrens names have been running through my family for generations. could someone advice to which would be the best way to find out more about these people. thankyou , jackie.

hi isabel , what i would really like is to find the birth dates of the parents names . they are thomas and jane mccaroll (nee skelly i have there wedding cert but only has they were of full age so i dont even have a rough date. also there son james mccarroll my grt grandad , would love to find out all his brothers and sisters . hope i am making sense . regards jackie.

Hi Jackie, I they were in Scotland when they died you could get their ages from the death certificate? Luv Margaret
