Where and how to order certificates?

Hello. You will also need to know which quarter the registration was made in. If you don't know it email me the name and date and I'll check for you. Regards. Keith

You need the year as well. And make sure you click on the right choice out of births, marriages and deaths.

3B is the volume, which applies to the reg. district ie Newmarket The other number is the page. These are only valid at the GRO. Go to the web site I mention and all will become clear. Good Luck John

Thank you- someone kindly provided the information on a marriage and a birth on the records board and gave me the place and numbers, which are which? Newmarket 3b 1133 and is this a correct format?

This is the online ordering site. You can ring up but I prefer to do online as you don't have to wait in a queue. Make sure you have the GRO page and number. http://www.statistics.gov.uk/nsbase/registration/certificates.asp Just ask for help if you need, John Worldzone.net/family/reddesktop

Can anybody point me in the right direction to order marriage and birth certificates. I am unsure where to and how to go about getting them. Thanks in anticipation of help. Viv
