paying census which is better

I would always go for the whole image because you can then decide YOURSELF what it says and not rely on the interpretation. Also on three occaisions I have found other rellies living nearby - two for the price of one!!! If you only went for the info page you might not realise how close together the houses were because some streets in small towns and villages are not numbered. Anne

I would go for the whole census image,then you are not relying on someone elses interpretation of what is on the image. You are in better position to understand what is writtten down about your family than a total stranger. Steve

anne thankyou so which one do i want: details of person inhousehold. or all details of rest of people in houshhold or image of whole census page listing person surly must be right john lambert davison only one there is at the age of 6years.

Hi Yes it does. You will get everyone living in the house not just the surnames you can fit together on the decoder, plus the address, plus any neighbours that fit on the page .. If you're really lucky you will have in-laws or other family members at the same address. Good luck Ann
