Does anyone know where I can get info on an ordination of a Catholic Priest in Liverpool in 1929? Apparantly one of my rellies emigrated to America and her son came over to Britain to be ordained. Thanks Sian

Try writing a letter to the local diocese. They should have all the info on file. I had to write to the Birmingham diocese about my husband's grandmothers cousin who was a Catholic Priest. They were very helpful and sent me a copy of the different places he had worked, his ordination and his obiturary. Margaret

Sian, You'll find the address of the Liverpool diocese in the National Catholic Directory. It will be in the local reference library, & gives info about every diocese in the country, with addresses for each. Good luck, Mary
