Could someone please let me have the web site to order a birth certificate on line, I have tried again to get on the online 1837 site to order one but it keeps telling me I have entered the wrong password. Thankyou Sue......................

I have one password for logging on to the site & another one to use when I order certificates. As it is a collection of letters & numbers I am sure it was "given" to me when I first used the site. I don't remember choosing it. this may help with your problem Pat

Hi Gail. It did work in the end but I put down that I had forgotten my password I hadn't but the one I used last time was rejected so they sent me another one and I copied it just how it was capitals and no's and low and behold it worked first time, waiting now for the certificate...... Sue

I have tried to order a certificate tonight on 1837, entered all my details, and when I pressed the button nothing happened. I tried twice but have given up now, will try again another time. Pity though, I think I have knocked a brick out of the wall and was hoping for confirmation. Oh well ---! Frances

Hi Sue, this was my first time of trying to register I tried my own password which did not work then I asked for a forgotten password which I received but that didnt work either I have since tried with another one but no luck, I cant understand why as I have never had trouble before. I will look through the tips and try again. Gail

Hi I've ordered certificates online with 1837 with great success, BUT, I found that although my password was fine when I logged onto the site, when I went through the ordering bit, my password didn't work as it needs to have a number in it and mine didn't. I therefore just added a number to my usual password and it went through and Bob became my uncle. Della
