I've been advised to run a full system virus scan regularly at the moment - there's a lot of viruses out there right now. Also, if you subscribe to Norton, make sure you update your virus definitions regularly - I'm doing it daily because of the plethora of bugs. Norton routinely quarantines naughty files - do remember to delete them from quarantine as soon as you can! Regs Jane

thanks for that Susie,i will keep an eye out for that one.i have had a few come through with something "doom" on them!but Norton always deletes them.Like you,i never open them.i never open any emails i'm not sure of,only ones i'm expecting. Chris.

colin thanx:) ive got it in quarentine at the moment and am doing a complete scan again.thought id better...lol is it a dangerous one as it is the first one ive had that got through my firewall and antivirus. i will remove it from quarentine asap susie

ive just had a warning appear from norton saying they were unable to delete the above and told me to quarentine immediately! it came through with an e.mail entitled dwarf4you.exe. i didnt open it,just quarentined it immediately!!! i havent heard of this virus before has anyone else? norton do an update every day and a full system scan is done every day by me. thought id just let you all know that it seems that some virus's are able to get through the antivirus susie
