Hi, I cancelled my free trial by email 2 days before the end of the 14 days. After my first email, I did not receive a response and still had access to 1891 so I emailed again the next day (still within the 14 days). I did not receive a response and still had access, but had checked my account and nothing had been taken. Today, a week later, I received an email saying that they had received my email and had cancelled the trial, but as it was now out of the date, they had debited my account, although they would return the monies, but it may take up to 30 days!! On checking my bank account, they had indeed taken £82!! Bit cheeky if you ask me, especially as I may now have to wait another month to get it back. Message is: just be careful!! Best wishes, an 82 pound (only wish it was lbs weight!!) lighter Carol.

I don't think that Ancestry has weekend hours. If you cancel on Monday, and I've done this is the past with my own 14 day trial, they will take off charges, if any occured. Judy
