Peter, Paul is correct, you have to remove the origianl uploaded .ged file at GC and replace it in order to update your tree. Judy

I was under the impression that when you try and upload your gedcom file, if there's already one there you have to remove it, effectively starting again ? Not that I've tried it of course, just what I thought was the case...

When you have a Gedcom program, you can upload your files to G.C. Now you use your own program as the master file for updating etc. Do you know, when you make changes to your own program and then upload it to G.C, does it just make the changes, as with a spreadsheet, and the rest stays intact. And also will the pictures stay there intact. Many thanks, Peter
