I need some help finding a marriage records for one of my ancestors. I found on the IGI that "SAMUEL CHATER" was baptised on 8/08/1824 at St Thomas Church, DUDLEY, Worcestershire. His parents were THOMAS CHATER AND SUSANNAH. They also had other children baptised 1817 and 1836. I have tried to find the marriage for THOMAS CHATER and SUSANNAH on the IGI but no luck. At present I am unable to go to the local archive to look this up in the Parish Records. Does anyone have any suggestions or has come across this marriage while looking up other info?? Any help is gratefully accreciated. Sue

Hi, The LDS have filmed the parish records for the years you need. There are several possible churches. You can order the films at an LDS centre near you. The catalogue on the familysearch site has the numbers. Hope this helps a little. Gwynne
