Hi Lucia, Well done! Do you have ages or places for those names? Can you email them directly and it saves me having to keep looking back. Why are you ordering certificates when you can download them? Regards Margaret

Hi Margaret, thank you for your help. I have got credits on the site now, and I have gone back one further generation, I did find it a bit difficult viewing the images at first, but I have now solved that problem. Can you look for Hugh Fraser and Richard Mellon on the 1881 census? thank you for your help Lucia p.s I have now managed to order a certificate through scotlands people.

Hi Lucia, Have you tried 0131 314 4411. I have just called them and they say that is the correct number. If you want to order on-line then you see to go through the Scotland People site. Have you tried finding it yourself on there? Regards Margaret

Hi Lucia, You can download your own certificates from www.scotlanspeople.gov.uk. It's a pay to view site but well worth the money. You can also view the 1881, 1891 and 1901. I have the 1881 if you need any look ups - please just ask. If you do want to order certificates that are not available on scotlandspeople - http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/grosweb/grosweb.nsf/pages/leaflet2#price Let me know if you need more help. Regards Margaret
