Thanks to you all, don't think it's the cable as NTL recommends it, and it was working fine until I updated it perhaps I'll just re-install Lynn.

We have BT Broadband and tried using the free Zone Alarm but gave up because it was stopping some functions.

Hi Linda, I have installed Zone Alarm about 2 weeks ago and have not (touch wood) experienced any problems with it. I wonder if it is because you are using it through your cable source? I have BT Yahoo and it recommended it, I also have free AVG installed as well. Margaret

Linda Cant help with that problem, but I used to use Zone Alarm, I had a problem with it a lot. I bought the download and back up CD, but if I needed to reload it, if PC went wrong or whatever, it would never accept the code number without keep emailing them. Got totally fed up with it and uninstalled it and bought Norton Dave

Recently downloaded updates to my free version of Zone Alarm. Now everytime I start up/log on it loads, then I get A window up saying Zone Alarm:zlclient.exe Entry Point Not Found and a lot of writing about data etc. The window has the usual ok box and shutdown X But I have to click 3/4 times before it goes away the firewall seems to be working ok but the above is really annoying. Has anyone any ideas to help Thanks Lynn PS. I am using XPhome edt. and ntl (cable) broadband connected through the set-top box.
