certicate from decoder

Can i get certificate from decoder if not where do i get them from. Looking for hardy, Olive need to know her mothers name plaus i think she had a brother from what it says. They lived in chester le street. |

Hi Susan on the 1901 census there is a Hardy family census place chester le street/durham Thomas 31Born Durham occupation coal miner hewer Mary 26 born Durham Bearpark John 5 Born durham chester le street Olive 2 born durham chester le street Hope this helps Gillian |

Susan No you can't order a certficate from the census, you can buy a copy of the page, but to order a certificate you will have to get the details from the indexing 1837(.)com remove the bracket. This is the original indexing for birth, marriages and deaths which is in London. Good Luck Irene |

to get certificates you need to find the registration No. I would do a search on County Durham on line to find birth or marriage registration. I f you find them there you can apply for the certificate on the site. I f not try Free B. D. M and if you get the reg numbers you can apply to Southport either on line or by post . Hi Susan On free bmd theres not a Olive born chester le street listed there is 2 Olive's born in Durham Olive Hardy born Stockton Mar 1899 vol 10a pg 76 Olive Hardy born Darlington Sept 1899 vol 10a pg 12 (now theres also a death for a Olive Hardy aged 0 in stockton so at a guess i'd say the Darlington one was yours.) John George Hardy born Mar 1896 chester le street vol 10a pg526 John Hardy born Mar 1897 chester le street vol 10a pg507 (now theres also a death for a John Hardy aged 0 Mar 1897,so the mostly one John George Hardy also bearing in mind the 1901 census was end of march he would have had a birthday so the year should definatly be 1896) Thomas Hardy Edward Born Dec 1871 Stockton vol 10a pg84 Thomas Hardy Born Sept 1871 Darlington vol 10a pg23 Thomas Hardy born Teesdale Jun 1871 vol 10a pg297 Thomas Heslop Hardy born Dec 1870 Auckland vol 10a pg220 Thomas Hardy born Dec 1870 Sunderland vol 10a pg519 Thomas Hardy born March 1870 South sheilds voll 10a pg642 The only marriage i can find is Thomas Nicholas Hardy marriage Durham Dec 1892 vol 10a pg508 Theres a Mary Ellen Adamson listed with him but there is one other man listed too) Gillian |
