Exresidents is a site that was plugged in the past, but I have just logged on again and seen that there are only just over 1000 addresses listed, so I think it needs giving a boost. This site could be a valuable resource, just as UKBDM, if we all entered the addresses of our ancestors as found on the certificates we purchase. If you have not heard of it before, try exresidents(.)co(.)uk,,,,,at present, it is a wasted opportunity! If we try the other sites as well and add our details - it will benefit us all! Russell |

I agree because about 30 of the 1000 are mine and I'm still waiting for other people to reward my efforts! |

What a wonderful resource this site could be along with ancestral villages, curious fox and ukbdm, but too many people cannot see beyond the present. Yes these sites are underused at the moment and we may not be able to find anything at present. All we need to do is add our details and the sites grow in usefulness. If we all have the attitude of "what's the point!", then there will be no point. Food for thought...... |

Just had another llok at exresidents - an indication of how underused it is - when I searched on 'Lynch' there were none! Curiousfox is better and I have had one exetremely useful contact from that site. I've tried ancestral villages but I'm not so keen. |

Just another plug for these, sadly, under used sites |

Hi, I've been adding to ancestral villages from time to time details from census pages so that a few more names get added apart from my family! I did check first with the host. |
