Helen You must have found the other chart that I found. Think you had to have a maths degree to work that one out! Glad you've made a connection. It always makes them seem more a part of the family when you can give them a title. Jeanette

Thank you everyone - I have looked at both the suggested sites and the charts agree I have found a first cousin once removed. Many thanks - I obviously had bad luck when I looked on my own - I couldn't make head nor tail of the chart I found! Regards Helen

i did a search for genealogy related websites and this came up as a result - i don't need it yet, so haven't tried it yet - but it looks quite simple http://www.mdwsweb(.)com/genealogy/relationship(.)html hope it helps - if not then there's quite a few links at the bottom - maybe one of those could help you lianne

Please can anyone suggest a good website for an easy-to-read chart showing relationships (second cousins etc.?)
