Lisa I don't know if you are aware of the following MUMFORD marriage, so thought I'd post it in case it is of any use to you. HYPGRAVE, Charles Marriage Wife: Emma MUMFORD Marriage Date: 20 Sep 1851 Recorded in: Datchworth, Hertfordshire, England Husband's Father: Joseph HYPGRAVE Wife's Father: John MUMFORD Source: FHL Film 1040808 Dates: 1837 - 1853 In doing a look up request on Hipgrave on the Rootsweb Herts list, this is one item of information that I got back. I haven't checked it out as the Charles Hipgrave (Hypgrave) in question may not be the one that I want at the moment. Hope this helps too. Regards Simon in Munich

hi diane! i'm in-between sending my kids off to school and getting to work myself; mary let me know about the your post. THANK YOU SO MUCH for remembering my brick wall. i am looking for Mumford, however he should be from Essex. i am very interested in any Mumford as i just cannot get anywhere right now! if you could please send me the information i would be grateful. Mumford and Ovens are the two most important ancestors to me -- i can't tell you how much i appreciate your help! thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (i'm off to work now, so won't be able to respond again until you folks have long since retired for the night.) and THANK YOU too to Jeanette and Mary! :~)

I remember seeing somebody on here with Mumford. There was a post on the Cambridge list the other day with somebody researching Hannah Mary Mumford b. 1854 Cambridge. If this may be a connection I will send you the e mail. Diane
