Last week I was introduced to KindredKonnections, and immediately found someone else with my elusive Sarah Maria Standen in her tree. Not realising that you could "earn" credits on this site by transcribing records for them, I paid my £10 subscription, and was so excited to find that here really was someone, living in Canada, descended from my maternal grandmother's next older brother. My first contact on my mother's side. I immediately sent off an email to the address given, and equally immediately it was returned as undeliverable. Fortunately I found another address for the same person, and sent off another email. That was last Friday = it wasn't returned, so presumably it got through ok, but I am still waiting for a reply. And the suspense is killing me. Will she reply or not??? HELP!!! Jan.

But I'm assuming that this person put her tree on the site in an attempt to make contact. I've emailed the site to ask if they have a more uptodate address for her, and if so would they pass my address on to her, but I don't know whether they would do that. Still, if you don't ask, you don't get. Jan.
