I received two e-mails yesterday inviting me to renew my Paypal account (which I don't have) - all I had to do was "activate the attachment". I didn't of course. Put "Paypal virus" into Google to find out more.

I get these every day...along with ones telling me to renew my credit card info for ebay too...I reported it to ebay (who own paypal too) who basically said just keep deleting them and never fill any in...talk about stating the obvious! Amanda x

I had one repotedly from ebay last week saying someone had tried to access my account so my account had been suspended and i would need to follow the link to re-activate. Needless to say I didn't follow the link and i forwarded the email to ebays 'spoof' dept. for them to investigate. Ebay and Paypal never send emails asking for personal information.
