Can anybody help please.... One of my ancestors was Chief of Police for India (though this might have only been for the area Nainital, as I have incomplete information) back in around the early 1900s. His name was Warwick Sutton. Does anybody know if he would therefore have been in the military, or would these police not have been included in the military? I've found lots of resources for military but nothing to help with police! Any help would be much appreciated or any suggestions on websites to research. Julie Tomlinson
