Hi Karen, The best I can suggest is www.cyndislist.com and try the Australia links there.I have just discovered a rellie that went to Sydney in 1857! Unfortunately I am currently up to my eyes in another branch of my tree but if I get any aussie leads when I do start I will post a thread for you. Best of luck! Sinead PS or try typing Australia Genealogy into a search engine and see what comes up!

Hi Marion, thanks for the offer, the names are Annie Vann (although she would be over 100 by now) and her children were Betty and David.I have no idea whereabouts they went to (Annie was my mums great aunt)all my mum can remember is that it was about 1956(my mum would have been about 8), Karen

Hi Karen The only one to look for would be d vann as probably his sister would have married by now . There arnt any just d vann's in west aust so all i can sugest is for you to look in the white pages on the net and try each aust state . I have just had a quick look and found a d vann in the regional area (not metropolitan) of new south wales and also queensland. It gives the address and phone no . Best of luck marion
