Hi Can anybody offer any advice on where to look now. My grandfather's birth cert has no father listed. Family gossip says his father was the son of grandmother's employers. He was born in 1889 and comes up on the 1891 census as living with his grandparents, his mother is in a different household, listed as a domestic servant. Pity she couldn't have had him in a census year, would make life easier! Does anyone know how I would go about finding her previous employers? I know it's a long shot!
