Hi Angela, As Deborah says, why not put some of the information on the boards? I have found most people are really helpful, and if they don`t know, will try to suggest another avenue. What area are you looking at? I am in Norfolk if that helps. Regards, Frances

Thanks a lot for the answers. Unfortunately, I live in France so I'm limited to what I can find on line until I can get over. I don't know how all those living in the US and Australia manage. At least I've got easyjet!

Hi Angela, I'm afraid only the 1881 and aparts of 1851 are on line. The others are available to view at the Family Record Centre in London, the parish where the census was taken or, if you have a LDS record centre near you, you can order the census records - and parish records too - from them. What does the bvr 2 cover ? I've got a list of rellies going from 1818 - 1681 and all I've got are who married who and the dates (well on most of them). Tried IGI and it helped with some but I don't know quite how to put them in order not knowing enough about them. Can you help ? (It's quite a long list!) Mary Brooke

I'm at the stage when censuses prior to 1881 would be useful. Can anyone tell me where or how I can get hold of these? Ancestry doesn't have many counties available yet. Thanks. Angela
