Please can anyone let me know which are the directories (mid 1800s) that list the occupants of houses? I am trying to find out who lived in the houses of a street in Co Durham in 1872 - my ancestor didnt show up on the 1871 census but I know she lived there in the following year. If I could check who lived in the same house it could help me. Any advice on which directories to look for and where I can find them (on the net?) would be much appreciated. Thanks Tyne
