Linda I find that sometimes 1837 (also DjVu) is a bit temperamental and refuses to get going. but if I am persistent it starts working and then works well. I use Explorer Len

Would it be worth going to the 1837 site and from the homepage download the viewer again. It should overwrite if you already have one.

I have over 320 units idling away on the Census but cant get the viewer to work; the site keeps trying to get me to download Netscape which I don't want. Have emailed 1837online but it still won't work properly. Help!
