Hi Sue, It is indeed a good site. What a pleasant surprise hearing Vera Lynne singing White Cliffs of Dover. My Dad had that L.P. and I grew listening to her and Gracie Fields. Lindy

Hi Debra, I am not sure, and I could be mistaken but Vera Lynn was know as the "Sweetheart" of the soldiers during ww2. This is according to my late Dad. Another one of his favorites was "Red sails in the Sunset" I am talking about South Africa that was still a British Colony at the time. I dare not speak for the British. Lindy
