The London Transport Museum have e-mailed be back attaching some useful information leaflets. I have enclosed a copy of their reply below and am happy to e-mail direct any of the leaflets they have sent to me. Naomi Dear Naomi Maynard Thank you for your enquiry below. I am afraid that we do not hold any staff records here at the London's Transport Museum. In the Reference Library we have an incomplete index of employees mentioned in staff magazines from 1913 onwards: these are usually brief notices of appointments, retirements and obituaries. I have carried out a search on our database for you, but I am afraid that I have been unable to find a reference to anyone of the name of Robert Poyntz. Attached are some information sheets, complied by Transport for London's (TfL's) Archives and Records Management Services, on staff history. These information sheets explain that very few staff records survive, and provide some useful advice and contact addresses of other organisations that may be able to assist with family history research. I am sorry that we have been unable to provide any more information. However I hope that the attached materials are of some help and I wish you success with your research. Yours sincerely Resource Desk London's Transport Museum

Hi All, My Grandfather was listed on a certificate as an Omnibus Driver. He lived in Hammersmith. Is there anywhere I might be able to find out some more information? Thanks Naomi
