Is the 1881 census complete

The other possibility is that, for one reason or another, the census enumerator missed the subjects. I seem to have that situation in my own tree, where my grandmother, Hannah Jane Harris, born approx. 1872 and married 1892 simply does not appear on 1881.

Possibly Pauline! I've been looking for them for a while and just can't find them. I was looking on 1881 which is why I wondered if it was complete. Sorry Naomi x

Hi Pauline, My GG Grandfather was William Land Poynts b1855 Camberwell, 35 Edmund Street. His father also William Land Poynts, mother Mary Poynts formerly Abbs. They may also ne known as William Robert Poynts or Robert Land Poynts or Poynts spelt as Poyntz. Many thanks Naomi

I think that major problem in 1881 is transcription errors. What was his name & I'll see if he is in 1871 yet. Pauline

Can anyone tell me if the 1881 census on LDS website is complete? I am looking for my GG & GGG Grandfathers. My GG was born in Camberwell around mid 1850's. I've found him and his wife on 1891 and 1901 but no site nor sound of him or his parents on 1881. Cheers Naomi
