I don't know if anyone else has pointed this out before, but there is a restriction on the length of time you can access the 1901 census. If you can get on at all, the restriction is two hours maximum usage. Gary

I've given up to it altogether. If you manage to get onto the site it throws you off after a couple of minutes. I have e-mailed them - there is no point buying credits if you can't stay on there long enough to search. Does anyone know what is wrong? Jill

I've been unable to get on using the census decoder this morning. P'haps they are having problems. Will try again later Keren

I just got in by going through a link from another web sit, genuk I think. No problems once I was on. At the moment doing work finding the exact people I want, as I intend to go in and print out about 100 census images and don't want to waste valuable time in there. Gary

Seems OK now. I've just searched for and downloaded half a dozen images - no probs!
