Thanks She, I haven't tried the hospital yet, but will do soon! Thanks for your good wishes, I think we're all on the mend (Tony's leg is still very sore though) but I'm keeping the girls off school today just to be sure! (Am I a martyr or what!!) Thanks again love Eleanorxxx

hi eleanor and tony hope the children are all better now and you two are ok as well - how's your leg Tony? Have you been in touch with the hospital mentioned on the birth certificate? they may be able to shed some light n the informant. And wouldnt it be fantastic for the lady on the cert to be in touch with her little brother - its her 50th birthday this year! Got everything crossed for you guys - love she xx

Hello all! Not been about for the last few days as my littlest Josh (3)was rushed into hospital for two nights and then on our return home myself and my two daughters came down with something rather nasty!! Did I miss much?! I did receive rather exciting confirmation through the post of another 2 1/2 sisters for hubby Tony (that makes 5 so far!) on Saturday though so that pleased me no end! The first birth was of "Valerie Elizabeth" born 22/01/53 at the Birkenhead Maternity Hospital. The second birth was "Susan" registered on 29/9/54, 2 1/2 months after the birth by a "K. Dukelow" who was apparently present at the birth. In the address of informant box it just says "St Thomas's Hospital, SE1". Does that mean she/he worked there or did the registrar not want/need to know the home address? Any help greatfully received! And if anyone out there has the birth name Valerie Elizabeth, was born 22/1/53 in Birkenhead or Susan, born on 7th July 1954 at St Thomas's and then adopted, you have a little brother (and his family!)who'd love to know you! (I have also put a message on trying to find board.) Eleanorxx
