Can anyone tell me if it's possible to view this anywhere, yet? I know scotlandspeople are meant to have it in the spring, but I don't want to wait! Thanks, Patsy

the 1851 census is available for viewing at different places in each county.but they only have the census for that particular county. edinburgh has the full census. my town has the census for all of ayrshire so i could only help you with ayrshire. if not you will have to wait until spring. i never knew it was being released, i hope you're right.

hi - got an e-mail from scotlands people to say all the new info has now been uploaded :-)

There has not been much added on Scotlands people. The only new stuff, is a extra year for births, marriage and deaths.
