IM TRYING TO OBTAIN A COPY OF MY GRANDFATHERS DEATH CERTIFICATE HE WAS KILLED IN ACTION IN THE SECOND WORLD WAR THE INFO I HAVE IS HIS NUMBER AND DATE OF DEATH CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHERE I GO FROM HERE.

Have you looked on the 'Commonwealth War Graves Commission' site? You might find him there, as a start. www(.)cwgc(.)org and remove the brackets!

Janet Have you looked on the 1837 for his death? That will give you the number so you can order the certificate. the address is http://www(.)col(.)statistics(.)gov.uk/ removing the brackets Hope this helps. Lynda
