I'm hoping to visit Coventry Archives next month to do some research. I have come to a full-stop at an ancestor who I believe was a Non-Conformist (Congregationalist in fact). Any advice on making the most of a visit to archives gratefully accepted and any advice on tracing Non-Conformists too.

Hi Jenny, can't be much help to you but....the people at the Coventry central Library Family History centre are so helpful...from experience. You could phone them beforehand and ask about the records you are looking for. I have some non conformist ancestors and was able to find the church registers for their baptisms. Good luck Joan
