I have found rellies on the 1891 census, Alfred H Coeling born Birmingham c 1863 and his wife Sophia nee Botterill born Birmingham c1864. I have found their marriage from freebmd in 1882, but both are missing from the 1881 census. I have read some clever tips on this GC board and have tried all sorts of combinations but without success. They would have been single in 1882 so Sophia would have been a Botterill then. Where are they? Any help greatly appreciated. Chris(tine) Vearncombe in Cheltenham

Many thanks Jan, I did see that one, but don't think its him, only a hunch but he was a pearl worker in 1891 and I think it more likely he would have stayed with the family business. Sorry also from his baptism from freebmd his father was Charles and mother Mary. Cant remember if Ive done a search for them on 1881 will have a quick look, i don't think I could find them either. Ros in Reddich Do you mean the 1881 Census on fiche, and if so is that at Birmingham Central Library? I can see I will definately have to plan a trip especially if they have Winson Green Prison records. Thanks Chris Vearncombe
