Have just seen this in my local county magazine thought it may be of interest, it lists people from lincolnshire deported to Australia,Gibralta and Bermuda 1788-1868, also gives the crimes they committed. www.lincolnshire.gov.uk and go to Convict Archive. Happy searching David Beard |

Wow, there's one that could be mine. John Presgrave, sent to Tasmania in 1841 for theft. There're two families named Presgrave who keep confusing me - but I have a mysterious John Presgrave who seemingly vanished after his baptism. |
