Hi all, I want to transcribe for bmd but have just read the beginners tips page and there seems to be so much to learn. Is it really that hard? I am no wiz kid when it comes to computers and progammes. Thanks Marie

I'm no whiz kid either, just an ordinary Granny. I took the plunge some months ago and found it reasonably straight forward, and you can get plenty of help and support from your co-ordinator. Go for it, the more the merrier, good luck. Val

Marie, please give it a go, it's not at all difficult and they don't expect you to give up your life for them. Think they only ask you to do at least 1 page a fortnight. i am in Brians scans syndicate and he is very helpful and patient especially when you're new to it Jane
